What we do

Brief biography:          Nikki – I’ve been an English teacher for 10 years and am now Director of English at Abraham Moss Community School, a diverse all-through school in Manchester. I am the co-founder of the Team English Twitter account. Becky – I have worked in education for 15 years, as a TA, HLTA, Unqualified Teacher and English Teacher. I am now Head of KS3 English at Jack Hunt School, an 11-18 multicultural school in Peterborough. I am co-founder of the Team English Twitter account.

Workshop title:           Team English – Creating a Culture of Collaboration

Brief description:        Being at the helm of Team English has allowed us to see the enormous benefits of sharing and teamwork. In this session we will talk about how to create a collaborative community and foster a sharing ethos in your English department and beyond. We will also look at some of the most popular resources and ideas that have been shared and adapted across the site and consider the impact they can have within your context.
